Gemstone's First Broadway Investment Off To A Strong Start
"Putnam County Spelling Bee" Receives 2 Major Tony Awards, Hitting 90%+ Attendance

(Las Vegas, NV) - Gemstone Development announced today that the Broadway musical in which it has invested, "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee", won Tony Awards yesterday for Best Featured Performer in a Musical and Best Book. In addition, it reported that the show is consistently exceeding 90% attendance in its Broadway run.

"We're pleased at the exposure that 'Spelling Bee' received at last night's awards. Almost 7 million viewers got to see a live performance of a montage from the production that featured guest speller Al Sharpton," said Alexander Edelstein, Gemstone Development CEO. "But I'm even more pleased at the attendance records the show is setting at Circle in the Square Theater. More than 25% of the cost of staging the show has already been recouped in the first month of performance."
