ManhattanWest Hosts Official Groundbreaking Celebration and Posts 100th Sale

Gemstone Development announced today that 30 days after the initial release of ManhattanWest, construction is underway. According to Vice President, Development, Pete Smith, completion of the first phase is planned for the third quarter of 2008. "Our official groundbreaking celebration took place on Tuesday May 22, 2007, and we hit a significant milestone with the sale of our 100th residence that evening", said Smith.

County Commissioner, Susan Brager, Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce President, Kara Kelly, and Gemstone Development CEO, Alex Edelstein spoke at the ManhattanWest site and participated in a ceremonial dig. A wine-tasting reception with food and live entertainment followed at the ManhattanWest sales center, where guests sampled wine from Rock and Roll Wines, took model tours, and learned more about the community.
