Gemstone Development has announced that APCO Construction will be the general contractor for the ManhattanWest project, located at Russell Road and 215 Beltway in Southwest Las Vegas. The $350 million mixed use project spans 20 acres, and features 700 condominiums and lofts in 10 residential buildings, along with two buildings housing 40,000 square feet of retail and 150,000 square feet of Class A office space. APCO Construction was founded locally in 1977 and has a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from Commercial and Governmental to Residential and Design Build. APCO's more notable clients and projects include Clark County, McCarran Airport, and the Grand Canyon Skywalk. Gemstone Development hired APCO to complete construction on its $230 million Manhattan project located on South Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas. The working relationship proved to be a good one and construction is already underway at the new ManhattanWest Condominiums.
